Watch movies with friends using shared collections

Share a movie-learning collection, see members’ viewing progress and plan a discussion without needing to watch at the same time.

Watch movies with friends using shared collections

Watching movies with friends can give your study routine a shared purpose. FilmLang friend collections share videos and viewing progress. They are not a live call or a synchronized watch room; members can study at different times.

Organize a small collection

Choose a theme such as workplace dialogue, travel or everyday relationships. Create a collection or share an existing one, then invite specific friends so access remains manageable.

Contributors use their own resources

Friend collections are available on Pro and Teacher plans. Uploaded-video preparation and storage use the uploader’s resources. Watching a shared copy does not count as another upload. Check your own processing credits and available storage before contributing a file.

Coordinate with viewing progress

Member progress shows the furthest recorded point. Replaying from the beginning does not reset it. Agree to discuss a scene once everyone reaches a chosen point. Reaching the end is viewing progress, not evidence of language mastery.

Discuss after viewing

Bring one interesting line, one unclear expression and a short summary. Explain from memory before checking the scene. The collection owner can stop sharing or remove members. Share only content you are authorized to use and share.

Pair the activity with the sentence-replay guide for individual practice.
